Chamber is an upcoming Valorant agent that specializes in sneak tactics and has a customized set of weapons. He is a sentinel character that offers extra utility for his team but requires kills to make full use of the extent of his abilities. His Ultimate, in particular, lets him pull out his custom sniper rifle that can take down enemies in one hit and slow down all hostile enemies around the dead player.
Here’s a more detailed breakdown of Chamber’s abilities:
C - Trademark
Place a trap that scans for enemies. When a visible enemy comes in range, the trap counts down and then destabilizes the terrain around them, creating a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.
Q - Headhunter
Activate to equip a heavy pistol. Alt fire with the pistol equipped to aim down sights.
E - Rendezvous
Place two teleport anchors. While on the ground and in range of an anchor, reactivate to quickly teleport to the other anchor. Anchors can be picked up to be redeployed.
X - Tour De Force
Activate to summon a powerful, custom sniper rifle that will kill an enemy with any direct hit. Killing an enemy creates a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it. Just like every other agent that came to Valorant, it will take players some time to work out how to play Chamber. We have no doubt that he’ll release a bit overpowered too, which Riot will tone down quickly based on player feedback and information.
When is Chamber coming to Valorant?
Riot originally planned for Chamber to arrive in the game on November 2. However, Riot has decided against this and pushed back Chamber’s launch on November 16, which is the same time that patch 3.10 will release. The character designers explained that they needed to delay Chamber to get more time to polish the agent’s gameplay and make sure that he is as good as can be once he’s available.
