The film was initially announced at the beginning of 2018, with the cast revealed about three years later in 2021. Chris Pratt voices the highly anticipated animated adaptation of everyone’s favorite plumber alongside Anya-Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Charlie Peckham Day as Luigi, and Seth Rogan as Donkey Kong.
In a recent Tweet, New York Comic Con’s official Twitter account announced that the teaser trailer for the Super Mario Bros. film would be shown during the show on October 4th, 2022, at 4 P.M. ET. This is extremely early, considering the new April 2023 release date.

Charlie Day, who plays Luigi, confirmed said as much in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on his show. While not much is known about the new movie, fans would be delighted to see the first-ever teaser debut during New York Comic Con event. We’re sure the die-hard Super Mario fans have already marked the date on their calendars.
