The AUG is one of the most underrated SMGs in Warzone. Not a lot of people use the AUG, but with the right attachments, this weapon can be quite deadly. It is considered something of an underdog as far as weapons in Warzone are concerned. Below, we have a custom loadout best suited for Warzone. This loadout is not intended for high range shootouts, but rather close to medium range engagements. Note that this loadout will not give you a lot of mobility. It focuses mostly on increasing the accuracy, damage, and overall range of the AUG. These stats are vital in Warzone.
This build will do considerable damage as well, thanks to its 5.56 rounds. Note that you will need to upgrade your AUG to a minimum of level 51. You can check out our guide on how to level up your weapons, player and battle pass tier fast here. We also have a full list of available attachments for each weapon with their unlock requirements.

Muzzle
As always, for the Muzzle, you should choose the Monolithic Suppressor. In every class setup so far, the Monolithic Suppressor has been our go-to suppressor. Along with sound suppression, it also increases your damage range.
The Monolithic Suppressor for the AUG unlocks at level 21.
Barrel
For the Barrel, you must choose the 622mm Long Barrel, which is the longest available Barrel for the AUG. This is the best Barrel when it comes to increasing your range, bullet velocity, and recoil control. Due to the heavy weight of this Barrel, you will have less recoil.
The 622mm Long Barrel unlocks at level 51.
Underbarrel
For the AUG’s Underbarrel, you need to choose the Commando Foregrip. The Commando Foregrip provides you with extra recoil stabilization and control along with aiming stability.
The Commando Foregrip unlocks at level 17.
Ammunition
After your Barrel selection, Ammunition is the second most crucial attachment for this setup. If you choose 5.56 NATO Rounds for the AUG, the damage increases considerably. You will be able to shred through enemies super quick. The 5.56 NATO Rounds come in two variants - 30 Round Mags and 60 Round Drums. For obvious reasons, you will need to choose 60 Rounds variants. This is because, in Warzone, you will be dealing with multiple enemy players.
Another good thing about the 5.56 NATO Rounds is that they increase your range as well - but this comes at the cost of decreasing your overall mobility. You may choose 5.56 NATO 30 Rounds if you haven’t unlocked the 60 Rounds variant. But you will struggle taking out multiple enemies at a time. The 5.56 NATO 60 Round Drums unlock at level 44, and 5.56 NATO 30 Round Mags unlock at level 28.
Rear Grip
Your fifth and last attachment will be Stippled Grip Tape as your Rear Grip. This attachment will give you a slightly increased ADS speed and an increased sprint to fire speed. Without this attachment, your ADS speed will be ridiculously slow. You do not need any optics on this gun as the build is intended for close-quarter to medium range engagements.
You can still use this gun to shoot at longer ranges, but you will have difficulty in doing so. The Stippled Grip Tape unlocks at level 42.
